Our History

Booms Construction Co. was founded in 1953 by Roman Booms. At that time it operated from an office located at 7711 Toppin Road in Harbor Beach, MI. We prioritized commercial construction in the immediate surrounding area.

In 1960, as the company grew, we decided to move to 1170 N. Van Dyke here in Bad Axe to become more centrally located as to serve the thumb of Michigan.
